With 15 years of language teaching experience and a strong academic background\u2013including a degree in Chemistry, TKT-TEFL certification, a Master\u2019s and a PhD in Education\u2013<strong>Luis brings knowledge, empathy, and structure to every class.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He has been part of Bridge as a <a href=\"https:\/\/bridge.edu\/languages\/es\/ventaja-bridge\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Global Teacher<\/a> since 2022 and highlights how enriching the experience has been: <em>\u201cMy time at Bridge has been wonderful. I\u2019ve been with the company for three years and have only met amazing students, learned a lot, and worked with an excellent team.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to speaking English, Spanish, and basic Portuguese, what motivates him most as a teacher is seeing his students grow and reach new goals\u2014especially when language becomes a tool for professional development and expanding their global reach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mid-Year: New Classroom Dynamics<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>During June and July, Luis observes a natural shift in classroom dynamics. Changes in work schedules and vacation periods often lead learners to reassess their priorities. <em>\u201cIt\u2019s a time when they start to prioritize their activities and language learning differently,\u201d<\/em> he explains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In response, Luis has a clear approach: <strong>adapt, connect, and enhance<\/strong>. He focuses even more on personalizing his classes, ensuring every session is practical, dynamic, and result-oriented. He avoids rigid models and instead proposes an engaging pace that respects each learner\u2019s unique process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Student-Centered Teaching<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Luis believes in active learning. His classes are designed for learners to express themselves, experiment, make mistakes, and learn continuously. <em>\u201cIt\u2019s the student who needs to do, try, make mistakes, and learn. They should always be active in the class.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This personalized, communicative approach is, according to Luis, one of Bridge\u2019s key strengths: <em>\u201c<strong>At Bridge, learners benefit from dynamic, coherent classes focused on their needs and goals, led by top-tier teachers and with an international, vibrant approach they won\u2019t find elsewhere.<\/strong>\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Message to the Bridge Community<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To his fellow teachers, he encourages continuing to apply inspiring, impactful teaching strategies. To learners, he reminds them that language progress is built day by day: <em>\u201cAcquiring English\u2013or any language\u2013is a process that depends on consistent, effective exposure. The more, the better. And learners can feel confident that at Bridge, they\u2019ll find the right team to meet their needs.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luis\u2019s story reflects Bridge\u2019s commitment to teacher-first instruction, where every class is designed with <strong>intention, care, and long-term vision<\/strong>.
