Learning a language doesn\u2019t just transform how we communicate. It can also open unexpected doors in our careers, strengthen our confidence, and give us tools to grow. Leticia from Villalba Aceros<\/a><\/strong>, a participant in Bridge\u2019s program, BridgePersonal<\/a>, confirms this with her own experience: today she feels more prepared to face professional challenges in a global company where English is part of her daily routine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

\u201cI work in a company that operates in 80 countries, so I often need to communicate in English. Before, I didn\u2019t feel confident, but now I understand much more in meetings and I can participate.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Leticia started her course with a very clear motivation: to expand her personal and professional opportunities.<\/strong> Whether it was to collaborate with international teams or simply better understand a song in English, her goal was always to grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFrom the beginning, I felt that learning English would allow me to meet more people, dare to work in contexts where Spanish isn\u2019t spoken, and even enjoy simple things like music more. All of that motivated me.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

A Learning Experience Designed for Progress\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Leticia has been in the program for several months and points to three key factors<\/strong> that helped her stay consistent: the patience of her Global Teachers<\/a>, Bridge\u2019s methodology, and the technological tools available.<\/strong> But what really made the difference was the personalized focus she received in her live classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMy teacher, Adri, was wonderful. She took the initiative to adapt our classes to topics related to my work. For example, we started discussing environmental care and sustainability, which are very relevant in my field. That made everything more meaningful and helped me apply what I learned directly to my daily work.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to that adaptation, Leticia was able to start using English in concrete tasks: preparing presentations, participating in global meetings, writing clearer emails with more confidence, and even building stronger relationships with colleagues from other regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She also values the diversity of Bridge\u2019s teaching team.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like many working adults, Leticia had to find a routine that allowed her to make progress without neglecting other responsibilities. The key? A mix of internal motivation and program flexibility.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe need to communicate with people who don\u2019t speak Spanish pushed me to keep going. But what also helped was that the classes fit well with my schedule. That gave me peace of mind. Today I can say that English is part of my routine.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Her advice for those just starting out is clear:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBeing able to communicate in another language is something wonderful. Don\u2019t lose motivation. Be patient with yourself. Learning takes time, but it\u2019s really worth it.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Leticia also highlights how much her confidence<\/strong> has grown thanks to the frequency of her classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA lot. Having two classes per week gives me greater confidence and fluency to communicate with my colleagues in other parts of the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
