SUMMARY:6th International Conference of TESOL & Education
DESCRIPTION:The 6th International Conference of TESOL & Education\nThe 6th International Conference of TESOL & Education (ICTE 2026) takes a forward-looking approach by centering on the transformative power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in reshaping the entire landscape of language education. As AI continues to advance at an unprecedented pace\, its influence extends far beyond simple classroom applications\, impacting how teachers design curricula\, how learners engage with language\, and how researchers investigate complex educational phenomena. This year’s theme\, AI in Research\, Teacher Development\, and Professional Practice\, underscores the urgent need to critically examine and harness AI-driven innovations that are redefining classroom practices\, professional identity\, and the future of TESOL. From intelligent tutoring systems and automated assessment tools to AI-assisted writing support\, speech recognition\, and immersive virtual learning environments\, ICTE 2026 invites educators\, researchers\, and policymakers to explore both the opportunities and challenges of AI integration. The conference aims not only to highlight cutting-edge research but also to foster meaningful dialogue on ethical considerations\, academic integrity\, and the sustainable adoption of AI in language education worldwide. \nLEARN MORE HERE

SUMMARY:How to use AI to support reflection and autonomy in teacher education – webinars
DESCRIPTION:Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly influencing teaching and learning. However\, many teacher education programmes still struggle to integrate AI in meaningful and pedagogically informed ways. This webinar will explore how AI can be incorporated into teacher education as an intentional practice that supports autonomy\, reflective practice and metacognitive awareness\, rather than being viewed simply as a shortcut or technical tool. \nDrawing on examples from a fully online teacher education course\, the session will examine how approaches such as flipped learning and project-based frameworks can be structured so that trainees use prompt crafting and digital notebooks to document their learning processes. Participants will also explore a gamified assessment model that promotes creativity\, ethical decision making and responsible AI use.

SUMMARY:Diversify\, Retain\, Repeat: How Experienced ESL Teachers Build Career Stability
DESCRIPTION:Most English teachers know what career instability feels like. A platform changes its pay structure. A school contract doesn’t renew. A steady private student moves on. When your income depends on one source\, one change can disrupt everything. \nIn this BridgeVoices webinar\, experienced teachers share how they’ve built more resilient careers by diversifying where and how they teach\, and by developing the retention strategies that keep each income stream stable. This isn’t about hustling harder or adding more to your plate. It’s about making intentional choices about where you invest your time\, and then building the systems and teaching relationships that make those choices sustainable. \nWhether you’re teaching on a platform\, at a school\, working independently\, or combining all three\, you’ll leave with a clearer picture of how to reduce your dependence on any single source and practical strategies for keeping the students you already have. \nWhat You’ll Learn:\n• Why relying on one platform\, employer\, or income stream creates career fragility\n• How experienced teachers have diversified across teaching contexts without burning out\n• Specific retention strategies that keep students engaged and coming back across any teaching format\n• How the right tools and systems support both diversification and retention\n• A practical framework for evaluating your own career stability and identifying your next move
