We\u2019ll begin with receptive skills, examining how readability tools (e.g., Flesch-Kincaid in Word) and corpus-based word frequency analyses can align texts with learners\u2019 proficiency levels. For productive skills, we\u2019ll investigate how chatbots can support writing and speaking tasks, as well as provide feedback on student output. Throughout, we\u2019ll emphasise the importance of using the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) to set clear, level-specific expectations.
