Additionally, you&#8217;ll<\/span>\u00a0learn how to build practical classroom routines that ensure meaningful engagement with texts, boosting comprehension and overall reading ability.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"intro sm\">Watch your students&#8217; confidence grow as their reading and oracy skills improve. They\u2019ll take pride in their home languages and see them as assets in their learning journey. Your classroom will become a space where every learner feels valued and empowered.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>This online workshop takes place 7:00- 8:30 p.m. ET from 02-06 June 2025 and will cover the following topics:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Day 1: Celebrating Multiliteracies<br \/>\nDay 2: Science of Reading and Multilingual Learners<br \/>\nDay 3: Oral Language as Foundation for Literacy<br \/>\nDay 4: Scaffolding Comprehension<br \/>\nDay 5: Classroom Routines for Participation<\/p>\n<p>All sessions will be recorded and available on the TESOL Canvas platform for participants for a month following the workshop.<\/p>\n<p>Once you complete the workshop, you&#8217;ll receive a digital badge you can share online!
