Misty Wilson, Ed.D., currently serves as Head of Teaching for Immerse, which offers virtual reality language learning software. Before joining Immerse earlier this year, Misty used her assessment literacy and TESOL expertise to support IELTS prep test taker resource development and teacher training with IELTS USA. With over 15 years of experience teaching English language learners, Misty is an active member of several professional organizations, including EnglishUSA, TESOL International Association, and NAFSA: Association of International Educators.<\/p>\n
Daniel Lesho earned his Ed.D. from Cal Poly Pomona in 2020 and is the president of the English Language Testing Society. He has led the English language programs at UC Davis and Cal Poly Pomona. Prior to his position at UC Davis, Dan was the Executive Vice President at iTEP International, where he was responsible for the oversight of daily operations, new test development, and research. Dan earned a master’s degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from Simmons College in Boston and a bachelor’s degree in history from Providence College in Rhode Island. Dan has overseas English language instruction experience in Korea and Japan, including positions at Nagoya University of Foreign Studies and Tokai University in Nagoya, Japan.<\/p>\n
