Teaching in a public or parochial elementary or high school in Hungary. You will be the conversational English specialist helping students practice their English in fun and engaging ways. Teaching schedule consist of 26 classroom hours per week, Monday-Friday, with groups of 15-20 students. You are responsible for developing your own lesson plans, though you will work in conjunction with the school's English department.

-Bilingual HS in Balassagyarmat north of Budapest. We have another, long term teacher at this school. They are requesting someone who can teach geography/geology as well as conversational English
-Bilingual Lutheran elementary in the pretty town of Szarvas with a lake and Hungary’s largest arboretum (Church schools do not require you to teach religion, attend services, or even believe.)
-Bilingual elementary in Salgotarjan, a mid-size city in northern Hungary in the Carpathian foothills near the Slovak border. We have another teacher in the city and this vacancy is following our teacher’s 5-year-long teaching stint
Split position between a bilingual elementary and a regular elementary in the beautiful university city of Szeged in SE Hungary
-Bilingual Protestant elementary in the village of Torokszentmiklos, very near Szolnok where we have 3 long term teachers.
-Bilingual elementary in Budapest for 2 teachers with shared apartment

Requirements & Qualifications
Our teachers must be citizens of the US, Canada, EU, or UK. (We are waiting to receive confirmation that the UK will have a teaching reciprocity agreement with Hungary.)
We accept teachers of all ages, though good hearing is a requirement. A good sense of humor is always a bonus, plus patience and willingness to adapt to a way of life that may differ from your own.
Salary & Benefits
Besides the national teacher’s salary, our teachers all are provided a private, fully-furnished apartment with utilities paid, plus the national health insurance. We also provide a nearly weeklong intensive orientation online while teachers quarantine in their Hungarian apartments before the start of the semester.
During the pandemic, we are providing our teachers all the necessary paperwork to enter the EU and Hungary. Upon arrival, we will pay for additional COVID testing as well as private driver to take you to your apartment, no matter where you will be teaching in Hungary.
