Au pairing in China can be a great way to discover Chinese culture
from the inside. Unlike in other cultures, au pairs in China are not
expected to take on any heavy housework. Primary responsibilities are
teaching English to the family’s children and serving as a positive role
model. This can be a great opportunity to learn valuable new skills
and practice some Mandarin.
Au pairing in China can also sometimes be a challenge. Cultural
differences and the language barrier can be daunting.
ImmerQi’s Au Pair program is prepared for these challenges and
ensures such issues are minimized. Through a careful screening
process, a work contract regulated by ImmerQi and our ongoing
commitment to in-country support, participants will not need to worry
about anything other than making the most of their time in China.
ImmerQi are an award-winning Beijing-based organisation supporting English teachers in their first job. We'll offer unique 6-month working visa teaching placements across China, all with a great salary and free accommodation.
We've welcomed thousands of teachers to China, and helped them make that first step to a new life overseas.
