Shereese Fullwood, English Teacher

Shereese, a Jamaican dividing her time between Jamaica and Florida, holds a B.Sc. in Psychology, a Post Grad Dip. in Education and Training, and various certificates, including TOEFL, Supervisory Management, Data Entry, Project Management, and System Administration. Joining Bridge in November 2021, Shereese’s teaching philosophy centers on creating engaging, student-focused lessons that prioritize efficiency and emphasize real-life communication and cultural awareness. Incorporating her Jamaican background, she initiates free talk sessions to enhance students’ speaking skills, facilitating cultural exchanges covering topics like food, holidays, landmarks, and idioms. Shereese employs diverse teaching tools, including interactive apps, visual aids, challenges, and pronunciation exercises, while utilizing techniques like scaffolding, storytelling, communicative language teaching, and inquiry-based learning to keep lessons dynamic and effective.
