Akshay Reddy, English Teacher

Akshay, an Indian citizen residing in Ecuador, possesses a bachelor’s degree, a 120-hour TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate, and a TTT (Train the Trainer) certificate. Commencing his teaching journey with BridgeEnglish in July 2023, Akshay has been actively teaching languages since 2018, initially as an English language trainer for corporate employees in India.
Fluent in English, Hindi, Telugu, and with a basic understanding of Spanish, Akshay’s inspiration to become a language teacher arose from his enjoyment of the English language and the desire to facilitate its accessibility, particularly in Spanish-speaking countries like Ecuador. One noteworthy success in his teaching career involves training a corporate group of students in grammar and soft skills, with a participant achieving an award for outstanding customer service, showcasing the tangible impact of effective teaching on practical achievements and recognition.
