From Chile, Yessica Muñoz has been part of Bridge’s Global Teachers team for more than a decade. With over 25 years of experience and international certifications such as TEFL, she has taught Business English to professionals in industries such as mining, pharmaceuticals, oil, and technology.
“My mission is to empower each learner so that English becomes a key tool in their professional development,” says Yessica. “Every class is practical, adapted to real day-to-day challenges, and always focused on achieving measurable results.”
Business English Methodology for Professionals with Clear Goals
Yessica tailors each class to the real work context: meetings, presentations, emails, client interactions, and networking, both in formal and social settings.
“I create a space of trust where we work not only on the language itself but also on fluency, clarity, and communication confidence. My goal is for each learner to progress with purpose and see how their skills directly impact their own performance and that of their team,” she explains.
She uses authentic materials, workplace simulations, and technological tools—including artificial intelligence—to reinforce learning outside the classroom and adjust content in real time according to learners’ needs.
Measurable Results in English for Teams and Professionals
Throughout her career, Yessica has supported learners for months or even years, witnessing tangible transformations: greater confidence in meetings, leadership in presentations, and active participation in international contexts.
One standout case is an Argentine learner who started with no English knowledge in 2023.
“Today he communicates fluently and is his company’s go-to person for receiving visitors from the U.S. Seeing that evolution is one of the greatest rewards of my work,” Yessica shares.
When teams improve their English skills together, collaboration, cohesion, and participation in global projects are strengthened.
“Shared language improvement not only levels the team but also opens opportunities for the company and generates tangible ROI,” Yessica notes.
How Yessica Inspires and Motivates Her Learners
“Seeing how English becomes a real tool for professional empowerment is my greatest reward. Celebrating learners’ achievements and accompanying them from their first classes to confidently communicating in global contexts is deeply gratifying,” she concludes.
Practical Tip to Improve Your English Every Day
“Feel the language.” Integrate English into your daily routine: change your phone settings, practice in front of the mirror, listen to a short podcast, or think in English while doing everyday tasks. Language learning comes from connecting with it emotionally, not just memorizing phrases. Even small daily contact makes a big difference,” says Yessica.
