Born and raised in Durban, South Africa, Vuyolwethu holds a Diploma in Language Practice from the Durban University of Technology and a 120-TEFL certificate from TEFL Universal. Joining Bridge in May this year has been an enriching experience, exposing Vuyolwethu to diverse cultures and backgrounds within the community. To make lessons more relevant, Vuyolwethu customizes content to align with students’ specific industries, fostering a comfortable space for them to share real-world work experiences. Utilizing resources like YouTube, Business English materials, and Business English Pod adds engagement. Despite challenges in maintaining student motivation, Vuyolwethu prioritizes creating a positive learning environment, embracing mistakes as part of the learning process. Balancing laughter and learning has proven effective in overcoming motivational hurdles.
