I’m Nikkie, an experienced Business English teacher based in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. I hold a BSc in Zoology, a PGD in Education, an MBA, and a 120-hour TEFL Certificate. Since joining Bridge on May 23, 2024, I’ve been dedicated to using flexible teaching methods that cater to my students’ needs, such as Concept Checking Questions (CCQs), Instruction Checking Questions (ICQs), Flip Classroom, group discussions, debates, role play, total immersion, and digital tools like Jamboard. I specialize in Business English for career-oriented students, often sponsored by their employers, which means they are highly motivated and eager to progress quickly. The most effective techniques I use are Flip Classrooms, group discussions, debates, and role play, which help develop critical thinking, communication, and practical language skills. This approach ensures my students excel in their professional environments.
