Nicola Meldrum is a Tutor Development Specialist at Preply. She has worked as a teacher, teacher trainer, materials writer and learning designer for over 15 years. She is from Scotland and lives near Barcelona in Spain. She is interested in pronunciation and feedback in language education and is currently writing a book about lesson planning.
Giselle Alano
Giselle Alano, the Assistant Director at BFITS Thailand, is a seasoned education leader with over a decade of experience in the Thai education sector. Holding a Master's Degree in Education focused on Curriculum and Instruction, Giselle is dedicated to advancing student-centered learning and supporting educators. She is a trailblazer in integrating innovative technology into education, fostering an environment that promotes creativity and critical thinking.
Umut Ergöz
Umut Ergöz brings a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for education to his role as Academic Operations Coordinator at Bridge Education Group. With five years of English teaching experience and a background in translation and interpretation studies, Umut has seamlessly transitioned into various roles within the organization over the past three years. Based in Istanbul, he not only fulfills his daily responsibilities with dedication but also extends a helping hand to teachers worldwide, offering support and guidance to enhance their teaching skills. Umut's commitment to professional development and his human-centered approach make him a valued asset and mentor within the Bridge Education community.
Rachel Story
Rachel Story, a Bridge instructor and English Teacherpreneur, is a nomadic ESL teacher originally from Tennessee. In 2010, she moved to China to begin teaching ESL. For five years, she taught at a variety of schools and training centers in Beijing and Kunming. In 2016, she began teaching English online with VIPKid and traveling full-time. Since then, she has been teaching, traveling, and living around the world with her husband Sasha. Together they document their travels and teach others how to become traveling teachers on their blog.
