Cathleen Mahoney
Cathleen Mahoney is the founder and CEO of Bright Language Testing LLC. After graduating with a double major in French and Spanish, she settled in Paris and began to teach languages for a training organization. She was eventually invited to become a partner by her manager, and when he moved on, she acquired the training company and rapidly grew the business.
Shélynn Riel
Shélynn (Shé) Riel is an international English language educator, teacher trainer, and podcaster with a Master's in TESOL and over 15 years of experience. She serves as Bridge's Expert Series Moderator and teaches in their graduate-level TEFL program, IDELTOnline. Over her career, Shé has held leadership roles in curriculum development and program administration at U.S. universities and non-profits, facilitated digital exchanges for global English teachers, and delivered professional development in Argentina, Bangladesh, and China.
Jay Busse
With over two decades of experience, Jay Busse has dedicated his career to helping adult learners acquire English language proficiency. He has designed and delivered comprehensive English language acquisition courses, tailored to meet the diverse needs of his students. His expertise extends to teaching soft skills, writing instruction, curriculum development and technology integration. His journey as an ESL educator spans various institutions, including Rhode Island College, Worcester State University, and Bryant University. He has previously conducted professional development seminars in Cali, Colombia and presented at a recent RITELL (Rhode Island Teachers of English Language) Webinar.
