Donovan Brown, Content Manager at Lo-Fi, Digital Marketer
Donovan Brown has dedicated his career to serving others. He began as an English Volunteer in the United States Peace Corps serving in Sierra Leone, West Africa from 2017-2019. After returning from Sierra Leone, Donovan served as a community organizer in Jacksonville, Florida with I.C.A.R.E. (Interfaith Coalition for Action Reconciliation and Empowerment). There he led a mental health campaign that resulted in the police department committing to train infield officers in the nationally recognized Crisis Intervention Team program. Donovan joined Lo-Fi Language because he believes in its mission to empower educators and creatives to pursue their passion while using their skills to provide a stable means of income for themselves.
Karyssa Cox, Director of Marketing Operations at Bridge Education Group
Karyssa Cox is Director of Marketing Operations at Bridge Education Group, a global leader in international education and English teacher training. Her key goal in this role is to ensure that the marketing team runs smoothly and efficiently while driving key company metrics such as lead generation and revenue. Her responsibilities include managing the marketing team, serving as a project manager, performing data analysis, and developing the marketing strategy. Prior to her current position, she held marketing roles in several industries, where she gained extensive experience in channels such as digital marketing, product marketing, marketing automation, and more. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Affairs from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
Miles Iton, Founder and Program Director at Lo-Fi Language Learning
Miles Iton is an interdisciplinary educator and multimedia artist from Miami, Florida. After receiving his MA in Creative Industries Design from Taiwan’s National Cheng Kung University thanks to the Fulbright program, he parlayed his thesis project into the hip-hop EFL teaching startup Lo-Fi Language Learning. His work in the industry stretches from DJing and hosting live shows (when COVID permits) to producing ethereal concept albums, award winning indie shorts and festival quality music videos. As Irie Givens, his international recordings can be found on most streaming platforms. Outside of music and film production, he currently contracts clients as a digital marketing specialist.
