Annie Altamirano
Annie Altamirano (MA in ELT & Applied Linguistics, University of London) is an international speaker, teacher trainer and materials writer. She has given teacher-training workshops in Europe, Asia and Latin America. As an author, she has published extensively with all major international publishers. Her main fields of interest and study are assessment for learning, differentiated instruction and the use of film, art, poetry and diverse visual elements to develop creativity and citizenship. Annie currently runs her consultancy Empowering Teachers Worldwide.
Shelynn Riel
Shélynn Riel is Bridge's Expert Series Moderator and regularly contributes articles and ELT news reports to the BridgeUniverse blog. She has served as an English language instructor for over a decade, a program coordinator in both university and community-based programs, and an English Language Fellow with the U.S. Department of State. Her interests include holistic teacher development, learner identity, and decolonial ethics in the language classroom. She is the co-creator of The Teacher Think-Aloud Podcast, which focuses on reflective practices for teachers around the world.
Cathleen Mahoney
Cathleen Mahoney is the founder and CEO of Bright Language Testing LLC. After graduating with a double major in French and Spanish, she settled in Paris and began to teach languages for a training organization. She was eventually invited to become a partner by her manager, and when he moved on, she acquired the training company and rapidly grew the business.
