Celebrating One Year: BridgePathways at Philadelphia University

On August 18th, 2014,BridgePathwaysatPhiladelphia Universityopened its doors to its first cohort of international students. With their degrees chosen, students were about to begin their lives on-campus as Academic English students. Now those same students are on track to earn degrees from Philadelphia University.

We are proud to celebrate the first year of this center, it has certainly been eventful! As the number of international students keeps growing, the center now welcomes students from more countries than ever before! We’ve had the pleasure of instructing students from Austria, China, India, Japan, Peru, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Ukraine, and more. Our staff is also growing to meet the needs of the students. Now that our graduates have moved on to successful academic careers at PhilaU, they have become an important component of campus life.

We have worked with students seeking both undergraduate and graduate degrees at PhilaU. Some of the most popular degrees are Architecture, Business Administration and Textile Engineering. Because our students have seen quick improvement in their English through the BridgePathways program, they are confident and prepared for success in their degree path.

Since the opening of the BridgePathways center at PhilaU, we have opened locations at Chadron State College and Colorado Mesa University. In just a few months, we will open BridgePathways at Husson University, Manhattanville College and Western New England University.

We look forward to many more years of student success with Bridge and Philadelphia University. We are proud of all our graduates and welcome future students with open arms to the Bridge family.

Our diverse, global community of contributors includes experts in the field, Bridge course graduates, online and classroom-based teachers worldwide, and Bridge faculty and staff.
