Transferable Skills: What are they and why do learners need them?

This workshop addresses the growing need for educators to equip students with skills essential for success in the 21st century. Participants will explore practical strategies for fostering key areas such as:

Ahmed Mohamed: an Egyptian educator residing in Alexandria, possesses a Bachelor’s in Arts and has been teaching for over 7 years. Currently with Bridge for a year, he holds the 40-Hour Specialized Certificate in Designing Custom Courses. Fluent in Arabic and English, with proficiency in German and French, Ahmed prefers the title of instructor or mentor, finding fulfillment in guiding students towards career development. He chose Bridge for its flexibility, efficiency, and empowerment. Ahmed integrates cultural exchange into lessons, sharing insights about Egyptian culture while learning about his students’ backgrounds. Specializing in Business English, Ahmed recognizes the high demand for effective English communication in professional settings, enjoying the collaboration with motivated individuals keen on career advancement. Karina Zew: is a passionate language enthusiast living in Buenos Aires, and expert with a Master’s in Applied Linguistics and TESOL. As Academic Director for Bridge Education Group’s Latin America Corporate Division, she leads a team dedicated to empowering professionals through language learning. Karina has personally taught students of all ages and backgrounds, and developed dynamic language programs.
