Following the recent opening the BridgePathways centers at Manhattanville College in New York and Western New England University in Massachusetts, Bridge is proud to announce three more university partners. The addition of Capital University in Ohio, Concordia University, St. Paul in Minnesota, and Metropolitan State University of Denver in Colorado, brings the total number universities in the BridgePathways partner portfolio up to eight. Bridge is excited to be involved in these universities’ efforts to recruit and prepare international students.
Capital University is a private four-year undergraduate institution and graduate school located in the Columbus, Ohio – a city that regularly makes “Top 10” lists for livability, technology, and job opportunities. Founded in 1830, Capital is the oldest institution in Central Ohio. The university focuses on offering students a rigorous curriculum grounded in the liberal arts and relevant to the real world. Capital offers scholarships specifically for international students, based on grade point average (GPA), and every applicant to Capital is automatically considered as part of the application process. The on-campus Intensive English Program is available for international students who require ESL preparation as a condition of admission.
Concordia University, St. Paul is one of the most competitively priced private colleges in the highly appealing “Twin Cities” location of Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota. Over 100 years old, CUSP is a well-established institute that offers 78 undergraduate degrees and 25 graduate degree options, and also offers academic merit scholarships for international students that can cover anywhere from partial to full tuition costs. The Bridge ESL Pathways center at Concordia University, St. Paul will begin enrolling students in September of 2017, with the goal of preparing international students with English skills.
Metropolitan State University is an urban campus located in the heart of Denver, Colorado. The university’s emphasis on inclusiveness has made it a leader in diverse enrollment among Colorado’s four-year universities. It has also ranked among the most affordable large, public universities in the U.S and offers over 200 degree options. The auxiliary campus on MSUD is an extension of Bridge Language Center in downtown Denver, allowing students conditional admission to the university and a TEFOL/IELTS waiver upon completion of the Bridge Academic English Program.
