TEFL Jobs in Peru
Types of Schools
Located on the Pacific Coast, Lima is home to nearly one-third of the country's population and offers TEFL grads plenty of teaching positions. Most TEFL jobs in the capital city involve working primarily with business professionals or university students at private language schools.
An added benefit? TEFL positions are available at the center where you will get certified!
Although requirements are more flexible in this region, classroom-based TEFL certification is highly regarded. In some cases, a bachelor's degree may also be required, though not always. Positions teaching children in a K-12 setting may have additional requirements, such as specialized certification or experience with young learners.
Since most teachers will work for language institutes, positions are available just about year-round.
